Hi Bronek,
could one install a hook DLL when running programs that patches
MessageBoxA and MessageBoxW to just log to stdout and exit so that it
would mimic unix behavior? I would image most of these dialogs come
from those two functions. I guess they could also be patched to block
for a little while because they are modal anyway (they return when an
option is selected).

All of this killing business seems very complex to me. Sorry if this
has been discussed before on a thread I've missed.
