  It works fine for me, and I had no other problems with it. I think
it should definitely be applied.

  No, the switch is definitely supported for all MSVC versions and
should stay. The only thing that should be changed is to remove -Yl
from the regular compile, and keep it only for the creation of
precompiled header file.
