I have a local version of msvc.jam (freely available elsewhere - see my comments on the appropriate feature requests). This extends the functionality of the msvc toolset. Highlights include:
1.  complete mapping of command-line options to properties;
2.  working support for .NET and C++/CLI targets;
3.  add the appropriate macros for the target machine and platform SDK setup.

I have stopped looking into getting VC8 arm working as this involved overriding the default include and lib paths as it appears that the arm batch file configuration to setup that platform is broken (or I didn't fully understand it!).

I will be looking at merging my changes to msvc back into BBv2 once 1.34 is out.
