[Boost-build] [bjam] waif child found?

Hi,

I've just started to experience the message "waif child found!" being output 
when I attempt a build on a linux system. This results in the build being 
aborted. It seems to occur immediately when the build phase begins.

I'll continue to investigate, but in the meantime: has anyone else seen this 
message and possibly have any ideas as for what the potential problem could 
be. The source of this message should be in execunix.c, IIRC.

Platform is OpenSuse 10, using BBv2 from RC_1_34_0 cvs from yesterday 
(2006-11-09).
