[Boost-build] Do I need the source of Boost.Build for building?

Hi!

I'm new to Boost.Build and is so far building my small project with v1.

I am now going to use v2, and I am wondering if I really need the source 
of Boost.Build in order to build my project(?).

Is it possible to use a lib-file instead (e.g. for easier distribution 
of the devel-version of my project)?
