They didn't find the bug. The bug existed since the beginning when 
Perforce wrote it. The person just pointed it out in hope of having me 
fix it. It was a bug listed in the Perforce docs as a caveat. It turns 
out we fixed two such limitations/caveats in the latest bjam release.
