Boost-Build : |

This is a bug report for what I think is a documentation bug, though it
might have more to do with partitioning of files in archives and boost
build distribution.
http://www.boost.org/doc/html/bbv2/installation.html
says
If a prebuilt executable is not provided for your platform or you are using
Boost's sources in an unreleased state, it may be necessary to build bjam
from sources included in the Boost source tree.
which is linked to
http://www.boost.org/doc/html/jam/building.html
which reads
For building the executables there are a set of build bootstrap scripts to
accomodate particular environments.
where the script is named "build".
The current release of Boost Build V2 is
boost-build-2.0-m11.tar.bz2
and has no script named "build" in any directory.
I wished to create a Trac entry as well as make this post, but in the search
(and so presumably in the ticket creation) there seems to be no way to
associate a ticket with a particular component of Boost, so I discontinued.
I did not see a ticket for this item.
I will check the newsgroup for replies.
