Try this:

obj Stub_Types_obj : Stub_Types_i386.cpp : <toolset>gcc 
<toolset-gcc:version>x86 ;

Your going about it the correct way.  Unfortunately, Boost.Build does 
not seem
to expand subfeatures in target requirements.
