Subject: [Boost-build] Building Boost on *nix: Shell Not Accepting DOS Line Endings
From: Oliver Zheng (mailinglists+boostbuild_at_[hidden])

Hi,
I am trying to build Boost on Linux in Bash. The Boost configure shell
script (as well as the scripts it references) all have DOS line endings.
Bash does not like this very much and spits out "$'\r': command not found"
for each instance. The scripts will not run and Boost will not build.
Has anyone tried to build Boost on Linux before? (I'm sure somebody has.)
What is a fix for this?
Thanks,
Oliver
