This is fine with me. I can then adjust our CMake to use those without
"-mt". I only wonder if "--layout=variant" or "--layout=variant-only"
would be a better term. And we could then provide "--layout=tagged" for
"-mt-d" and so. (Or use "--layout=full-tag" or something).
It's the name of the beast again ;-))
