[Boost-build] boost::regex ++ sequence trouble

Hi,
My regex requires a ++ sequence like so "[a-zA-Z0-9.!%*_+`'~-]++".  
But, of course "Invalid preceding regular expression", so I am not  
sure how I need to escape these or whatnot. Help?
