Well, I am no longer working on that project, so hopefully someone
else will take over.
In waiting for my reply to make it to the list, I realized I needed
<target-os>windows
on the using qt declaration. I didn't think to do that since that
doesn't seem to be possible for gcc (would be nice).
We decided we would need to pre-compile all the binaries and do it
that way. We hoped to eventually go back and bootstrap qt from boost
(large undertaking).
I didn't have access to a windows machine unfortunately since almost
everyone was also on holiday. I tried to do it from wine but didn't
have time to get mingw setup for that.
