Well, only if you provide more information:
- Do you have gcc (mingw) configured in user-config.jam ? If yes, please
attach it.
- Try adding --debug-configuration to the bjam command line. This output
should help you (and us) to find out what is happening.
- Is C:\mingw\bin in your PATH ?
And if you want to really use Boost, it might be a good idea to use a
more recent mingw based on gcc-4.4
