Hi,

I'm trying to configure a library so it can optionally be built as a DLL 
while its dependencies are linked statically. On Windows, this means I 
need separate names for the export/import defines, which is nightmarish 
enough. But I'm also running into a problem with Boost.Build getting the 
error in subject. I've posted a small test case at:

If anybody has ideas on how I can make this logic less bloated I'll be 
delighted to hear them.
