-d2 at the right place did help to explore the program options and to
build a profile optimized version (my original aim) of bjam, which runs
a lot faster on my machine.
BTW I'm using boost build for building 3 apps, 30k - 55k targets each
and bjam needs 3-5min (i7) before compiling the first object
(patience...). I guess the dependency lookup won't made in parallel when
watching the cpu load in the first 3-5min.
Looking really forward to the python port which may become a great
chance for a development boost of a yet alternative build environment.
