Hi,
In tools/common.jam the helper rule "format-name", used for tagging,
supports a list of parameters. The comment description says that each
supports a joiner that defaults to "-" if not specified. This is not the
case for <base> though. Why not? Is <base> assumed to be first in the
list? In my case it isn't, and in the example given it isn't either:
It's "boost_". That trailing underscore could be avoided if <base>
supports a joiner.
