On Linux, and HPUX, I can successfully use:
bjam define=fred
On AIX:
This produces a core dump
# bjam define=PORTABLE_BINARY_ARCHIVE
...patience...
...patience...
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
# bjam -v
Boost.Jam Version 3.1.17. OS=AIX.

trying different variations like:
bjam define=fred -n
bjam -j2 -q define=bill=1
have no effect, all cause a crash, it appears that bjam cant cope with
defines on AIX?
Best regards,
Ta,
Avi
