I know it sounds a bit dumb but I had

using python ;

in both my site-config.jam and user-config.jam. It took me quite a while 
before I worked out what was wrong. Until then I got many
error messages about "best alternatives". Would it be possible to put a 
check in boost.build for this sort of mistake?
