I think this would make a very nice addition to contrib dir. I do not 
have an immediate use for it, but would definitely like to have it 
available.

Minor nitpick:

feature.extend toolset : java ;

This is unnecessary, and wrong IMHO. Everything should work the same 
without this line. Am I missing something?
