   Yup, yesterday I committed a check to make sure noone is attempting 
to reference the 'currently loaded project' while there was no project 
being loaded at the moment.

   If you need a quick-fix - just use the revision prior to this one.

   Also, if you can help me reproduce the problem - I can look into what 
triggered it. I'll try reviewing the code listed in the traceback you 
included in your post for now.
