Hello,

I have attempted to build boost on Windows 8 x64 RTM + Visual Studio
2012. Two issues related to pointer truncation prevent Boost.build
from functioning properly. Both of these issues occur in versions
1.50.0 and 1.51.0 RC. I have since submitted a bug + patch here:
https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/7243

While talking to a developer in #boost it was suggested that I could
help by running regression tests on Windows 8. The guide seems
straightforward and I think I can set up an automatic run. However, my
question is this: Given the above, how do I go about regression
testing? Do I download the latest and apply my patches then run?
