Ah, they are logged to BOOST_ROOT/bin.v2/config.log at least when running b2 
inside the BOOST_ROOT/status directory.

The attached patch make b2 spit out the log file name if "--debug-
configuration" is used. 
Should output something like

configure log /home/<boost-checkout>/bin.v2/config.log
