Could we use 'peacemeal together' for compile.c++ actions? Originaly I thought it should help. But I'm not able to make it work.

Well color me silly :-) I thought you could only have an OBJ file name,
not a directory.

Now we would need some way of finding similar compiles, same features,
same headers, same destination, etc. So we could place them all in one
action/response-file.
