I think I asked the wrong question.... if you edit your CMakeCache.txt
for any reason the makefiles will get regenerated. I just checked on
ubuntu, and the python variables in the cache don't get clobbered back
to 2.5 if e.g. you manually set them to 3.0. So maybe this is an
apple/framework-specific thing.
