Both are good, implementable ideas. The colon is not
necessary. The symbol table will detect sid unambiguously.
Even the /sid/ is not required. We can simply use the
Section title itself:

    [section DaDoDoDoo


    [section:daa DaDaDaDaa

The document block is also a good idea.
