Hi,

I'm forwarding an old thread by Nicolas Lelong posted

Christian expressed interest to include those codes in gil-contirbutions
repository, but I don't think it ever made it in.
I don't see anything from it in our archive of that repo

I think it may be of interest to anyone who'd like to work
on rescaling/resampling additions and improvements for GIL.
So, I'm archiving pointers to that thread here.
