Hi,
My name is Rafael, I am PhD candidate at the Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo and I am currently running an academic survey to identify sequences of program comprehension question that engineers ask.
I would like to invite the Boost community to participate in the survey. I am pasting the formal survey invitation with extra details after my email signature. I would highly appreciate if you can share the invitation with the community.
Thank you,
Rafael F. Toledo
---- Hello, My name is Rafael F. Toledo and I am a PhD student working under the supervision of Prof. Joanne Atlee in the WatForm lab in the Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. I invite you to participate in an online survey to determine sequences of program comprehension questions that engineers ask. Participation in this survey involves answering a questionnaire asking about your experience as a software engineer; including 3 questions (each with 16 sub-questions) about the frequency, difficulty, and relevance of a set of 16 program-comprehension queries; plus potential follow-up queries. This is an anonymous survey and no identifying information is collected. Answering the survey should take 30 minutes. In appreciation of your time, we will enter your email in a draw to win a $50 CAD Amazon gift card. This study has been reviewed and received ethics clearance through a University of Waterloo Research Ethics Board. If you are interested in participating, please access the following link: https://uwaterloo.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1TyEa1T9Dp6IL6m Incomplete survey responses will not be included in our data analysis, but participants are entered once into the gift card draw. Complete survey responses are entered into the gift card draw more than once. Best, Rafael F. Toledo PhD Candidate Cheriton School of Computer Science
