Martin, those failures you were seeing were related to Python support,
not the parsing of toolset identifiers.  Could you try it again,
please?  If you continue to see Python-related problems, you might
consider temporarily removing the "using python" stuff from your
xxx-config.jam.

If you don't want to disturb your testing setup you could use
user-config.jam.

Also, if you could try to reduce this to a problem with one or two
toolsets, that'd be a big help.
