John,

It runs in a continuous loop. The time for one iteration is at the
minimum 3.5 hours, but can take longer depending on other factors.

It takes so long because it uses XSLT. We'd like to convert it to
something faster like Python or C++, but AFAIK no one is currently
working on that.

This question has been asked several times recently. Would it be
possible to tweak the "Report Time" to also show how long since the
previous report?

That would have two advantages:

* It becomes a self-updating FAQ reply.

* It would alert everyone if the process isn't working as expected.

Just a thought.
