Ah, here's one problem.

error: Unable to find file or target named
error:     '../no_auto_declarations_pass.cpp'
error: referred from project at
error:     '/var/scratch/boost/boost/libs/config/test/all'

Not sure who updated boost/config, but this is part of the problem.
