[Boost-testing] boost test for dummies

I'm interested and trying out boost test, but the documentation here:

http://beta.boost.org/development/running_regression_tests.html

seems to imply my results will automatically be uploaded to boost. I'm 
not sure my results will work yet and I don't to upload trash. Is it 
possible to just try the tests locally? Do I need a "runner ID" to do 
this? If so, do I request one, or just make one up if it is local?
