Hi there,

I've been trying to build the regex library but failed miserably. The
compiler always dies with an error in "regex_traits.hpp"

C:\boost_1_25_0\libs\regex\build>nmake INCLUDES="-I%STL_INCLUDE%"
-fvc6-stlport.mak

Stop.

The error stays the same if I try the new build system with the
following command line:

jam -ftools/build/allyourbase.jam -sTOOLS="msvc"
-sBUILD="<include>%STL_INCLUDE%"

If I look at the offending line in "regex_traits.hpp" it reads

   const std::ctype<char>* pctype;

Obviously it doesn't know that ctype lives in the std namespace.

It works if I use the STL supplied by Microsoft.

Does anyone else use this combination of compiler and library and
managed to successfully build the regex library?
