I had trouble getting CppUnit to compile with metrowerks, and it seemed a bit too complicated anyways. The simplest unit testing framework I have found so far is here http://www.cuj.com/articles/2000/0009/0009d/0009d.htm
Isn't as fancy as some of the other testers, but it does a lot with very few lines of code.

Subject: [Boost-Users] unit testing framework for c++ in boost?
anyone know if there are plans to write a unit testing
framework in boost?
i've checked out unit++ , the interface doesn't seem
very intuitive, and it seems rather feature limited
and i kinda like CppUnit, but i get the feeling that
since it's very similar to JUnit's interface, it's not
as c++ friendly as it could be ..
anyone know?
