One has already been reviewed and accepted.  It is in the CVS under the 
branch "unit_test_development".

The plan is to merge into the main branch soon after 1.28.0 ships later 
this week.  Integration is a bit difficult because it requires a library, 
and that in turn requires the new jam-based regression testing system.
