Building regex on AIX w VisualAge

Can anyone assist me with this?
I've tried every compiler option I can think of combined with disabling
BOOST support for a whole bunch of stuff and I still can't get this library
to build on AIX.
There are just too many compile errors, and I was really hoping I wouldn't
have to go modifying the source.
