Support for chain graph

I am interested in an algorithm in Bayesian Networks which uses chain 
graph, that is a graph that contains both directed and undirected edges. 
Since the declaration of the template seem to include one or the other, 
i am looking for ideas on implementing these graph. Any suggestions?
