As someone else has already pointed out, this is a known issue with gcc3.2
on Suse Linux see http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=8701 which
also indicates that the issue has been fixed - go to SUSE for an updated gcc
version.  You might want to grab the latest Boost sources as well...
