You really should think about checking out the version of program_options from
the main CVS repository.  The main CVS version has all the changes from the
review incorporated and is part of the regression suite.  I'm not sure if that
option is back portable to 1.31, but I think that would be your best bet if
you don't want to go with the current CVS for everything else.
