[Boost-users] portable uuid generator

hi all,

working on a crossplatform program at the moment, i'm in need of a
portable uuid generator ...
currently, i'm using libuuid on linux and i read through the msdn about
generating gid, but if there's a uuid class (maybe in boost?) that
already does it, it would handy ...
