 bjam "-sTOOLS=gcc" target

in this case

bjam "-sTOOLS=gcc" dll 

should build the shared library only

and

bjam "-sTOOLS=gcc" lib

should only build the static library

I dont know about boost 1.30 but it works on the 1.35 cvs version
