Guilty as charged for the TR1 docs, but then it's more a meta-library, and 
you should follow the links to the Boost.Filesystem library for the details!

BTW we already have a wiki (http://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/), would you 
like to start up cookbook project, and start adding some recipies?
