Hi,
I am a C++/JAVA developer. Today someone was saying it is time to migrate
from legacy C++ systems to JAVA. I love C++ :-(
The trend in banking industry or belief in Banking projects is C++ is
outdated and JAVA is the solution. One reason I felt is lack of open
source enterprise level middlewares for C++. For java we have many EJB
servers, Spring framework is there.
Will boost be building libraries which will help to build enterprise level
application? Some API's like iBatis, hibernate etc. Something similar to
JSP and Tomcat equivalent? I think those will attract more developers to
C++.
Boost community is doing an excellent job. But how much is the industry
going to use?
Regards,
Jayaram
