[Boost-users] [gil] Cannot read jpeg file

Hi there, this is most likely off-topic. But I'm a little desperate,
though please excuse me.

I try to load a jpeg file using gil's io extension. But it always
fails. Every time when I try to execute jpeg_read_header my app
crashes due to some memory exception. At this point the file is
already open and yes, it's jpeg file.

I'm using Visual Studio 2005 with plenty of memory.

Does anyone has any idea? It must be something really simple but I
can't see right now.
