And when I try running the program in the Xcode 2.4 IDE, I get different
 errors. I added the directory /usr/local/boost_1_34_1 to the
Project Settings under:

Project>Edit Project Settings
Collection: Search Paths
Header Search Paths /usr/local/boost_1_34_1/**

And when I run the program, I get an error for the line:

typedef std::istream_iterator<int> in;

which says:

error: expected initializer before token '<' token

And I get an error for the line:

std::for_each(in(std::cin), in(), std::cout << (_1 * 3) << " " );

which says:

error: for_each is not a member of 'std'

(plus 170 other errors)
