Hi,
I am using gcc 4.2.3 on Ubuntu8.04(64bit):
$ g++ --version
g++ (GCC) 4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu7)
$ uname -a
Linux rbock 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Wed Aug 20 17:53:40 UTC 2008 x86_64
GNU/Linux
Catching by reference does not change the result.
