The exception "unregistered_cast" carries the message "unregistered void 
cast" when thrown, which is nowhere documented and requires reading the 
source to discover the relationship. The doc lists the internal names of 
the exceptions, whereas the user sees the associated messages. Either 
the doc should instead (also?) list the actual messages, or the internal 
and external names should be the same.
