You could try VSIPL++ at www.codesourcery.com
BTW FFTW isn't necessarily the fastest for all types and sizes of FFT,
though it *is* normally pretty competitive.
e.g. search for 'www.spiral.net' or benchmarks of vendor-tuned libs
