If I had to guess, I would say that there aren't very many people using
subgraph so it's implementation hasn't evolved with the rest of the library.
That's probably true of a lot of BGL code.

How quickly do you need a fix? I'm pretty busy for the next week of so, but
I might be able to make some time this weekend.
