Not sure how to interrupt a command line. Google says I should just type "\"
and enter but that does nothing.

Strange...Is there a way to bypass bjam altogether? I was hoping to build my
wrapper in Eclipse and compile it as a shared library, but it looks like
there's no way to do it like that.
