Donald, one more idea.
Sometimes I made Intellisense work better when manually added boost
dir to "additional include directories" in Project options (as you
understand, Boost already was added to Visual Studio Options -> C++
Directories)
I guess, it will not help in your situation(80% probability), but try this also.
